Love for our own children, I think is the most selfless. OR is it due to the helplessness that is so innate to such a biological relationship? The fact that they are totally dependent on us and the fact that their existence is to a large extent determined by us.. is it the submission that we love or the power one experiences out of being wanted? Or is it the deep insecurity that makes us want to love..... whom do we actually love... ourselves or our own children?...
So, how selfless?

I couldn't have expressed it better. Loving is self-less when we are not doing things for self-gratification... i dont think thats the case with love for own kids.... All you need to do is travel from borivali to church gate to find out this... There are 100's of children.. helpless on the platform and on the station... the way they are being ignored by the very people who think their kids are the most beautiful ones on the planet... that love is not self-less...... believe me... these kids can be as beautiful as you want to see them... trouble is .. we are not self-less!!
